First off, I’m a novice programmer trying to learn C#. I’m playing around with an old school tower defense game. I’m trying to get the user to change the attack type by pressing the number buttons on the keyboard and holding the «d» key.

but I’m getting the error:

I understand what the error means and that the error is being caused by the if statement, but I’m not sure what to do to fix it. Any ideas?

You need to check if the key is actually down, not just whether or not the key is pressed.
